Dennis Kirkpatrick is a Managing Director in the Business Development Group of Commerce Street Capital, LLC. Dennis joined Commerce Street in June 2012 and is focused on strategic business development in order to address the unique needs of the markets CSC currently serves.
Prior to joining Commerce Street, Mr. Kirkpatrick was a Business Development Executive with Grant Thornton LLP for eight years, and KPMG, LLP prior to that. While at Grant Thornton, he developed and implemented a cross selling platform for the Dallas office in 2004 which is still used today. Mr. Kirkpatrick was also Regional Vice President of Marketing for Real Estate Tax Services, Inc. for nine years. He began his banking career in 1974 with Republic Bank of Dallas where he was responsible for marketing banking services in a five-state region.
Dennis earned a BBA Finance/Marketing from The University of Texas (Austin), attended the University of Oklahoma National Lending School as well as Southern Methodist University's Graduate School of Banking.
Mr. Kirkpatrick is a registered representative and has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 63 examinations.

Don Kuykendall is a Managing Director in the Business Development Group of Commerce Street Capital, LLC. Mr. Kuykendall’s focus is to expand the company’s corporate investment banking opportunities and strategic business development in the Central Texas / Houston corridor.
Prior to joining Commerce Street, Mr. Kuykendall was Chairman of the Board & President of, STRATFOR, a global intelligence company. Before that, he owned various radio stations in Texas and Mississippi. Don began his banking career in 1972 when he joined Continental Bank in Chicago as a lending officer in the multinational division. After five years in Chicago, he returned to Texas with First National Bank in Dallas where he was head of the Southwest Division. In 1983 he, along with a group of Austin investors, started Alliance Bank (de novo) where he served as CEO and later as Chairman of the Board.
He earned his BBA & MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bill Patterson is a Managing Director in the Business Development Group of Commerce Street Capital. Bill joined Commerce Street in April 2017. His focus is to expand the company’s Corporate Investment Banking, Bank Capital, Risk Management Consulting, SBIC Funds and strategic business development in the Southeast.
Prior to joining Commerce Street, Mr. Patterson was the Vice President and Senior Investment Officer in the Investment Banking Division at UMB Bank, N.A. (“UMB”), where he implemented fixed income and balance sheet management strategies and provided investment analysis, market research and liquidity analysis for clients. Before that, he was a Principal at Quantum Risk Management & Solutions, LLC, a risk management and consulting firm for financial institutions. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Professional Bank Services; a Vice President and Secured Lending Division Manager at Peoples Bank & Trust Company; a Vice President and Funds Manager at First Liberty Bank in Macon, Georgia and an Asset and Liability Analyst at Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Patterson has authored numerous published articles. He has covered a wide array of subjects including Liquidity Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Fixed Income Portfolio Management and Economics.
Mr. Patterson received his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in Bank Administration from the University of Alabama. He completed The Graduate School of Banking at LSU and the Southeast School of Commercial Lending at Vanderbilt.

Tanner Borger is a Vice President in the Business Development Group of Commerce Street Capital, LLC. Mr. Borger’s focus is to expand the company’s corporate investment banking opportunities and strategic business development. Mr. Borger is also active in the Bank Capital Group and contributed to the Oakwood Bancshares capital raise of $38.7 million in May 2017.
Mr. Borger has over 8 years of experience in the financial services sector. He began his career with JPMorgan Securities within their Private Wealth Management Group.
Mr. Borger is a graduate of Pepperdine University. He holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 26 licenses..
